Most of these homemade Christmas presents on this list are things that members of my family will be getting this year. A lot of them I have been working on throughout the year, but you can make them in a day quite easily. Or even just an afternoon.
So if you have folks on your list that you just can’t think of what to get for them and time is running short, why not try a few of these homemade Christmas presents. Most can be made with what you already have around the house. Or could easily get with a quick trip to a grocery store.
Peppermint Hazelnut Clusters – These are the devil. In a good way. You can’t stop at one. Batch. Seriously! If you have any chocolate mint fans, this is the one for them. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Hot Chocolate with Peppermint – Another one for the chocolate mint fans in your life. It takes about 5 minutes to make a bunch of this up. Put some in a jar with a ribbon and instructions, and voila! Instant perfect present. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Gluten Free Banana Bread – Do you know someone who likes baked goods? Soft, yummy banana bread might just do the trick. This gluten free banana bread is so tasty and delicious. They will love getting it on Christmas morning. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Gluten Free, All-Purpose, Flour Mix – Do you know someone who is gluten free and loves to bake? A batch of this gluten free flour mix would be a great way for them to bake some of their favorite treats all gluten fresh, now. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Apple Cinnamon Jam – Jam is easier to make than you think. And people love to get homemade jam for presents. This one does take a day because the apples sit in the sugar over night. But it doesn’t have any added pectin. And it is so good, LM asks for it all the time. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Apple Butter – This one takes a tad more planning, too. But if you start it the night before, you can do it. You want at least 10-16 hours in your crockpot. But then it is ready to go. And let me tell you, if you give people apple butter for… any reason, they will love you for life. People go crazy for this stuff. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Easiest Smooth Homemade Applesauce Recipe – This is the easiest (duh) and quickest thing you can make on this list. Well, except for the flour. Because there is no cooking or anything with that. (Another duh, I guess.) But this comes a close second. And people love it. Homemade applesauce just tastes so much better than the store bought stuff. Just get some apples, cut, core and cook. Done! – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Easy, Chunky Homemade Applesauce – And last but not least is my Grandma’s recipe for homemade applesauce. Takes about 5minutes longer than the version above and it is so, yum, yum, yummy. Seriously! This is a gift that will be remembered. Or you could just make it and keep it all for yourself. You decide. – (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
So there is a list of some easy, last minute gifts. They all taste great and will be adored by whomever receives them. Hope you have a wonderful holiday! We are working on getting over lots of illness, here. But we are crossing our fingers we will be all better by Christmas. Happy Christmas to all. And to all a good night.
